There are 7 comments on BUPD Chief Tom Robbins Steps Down

  1. Here’s hoping Chief Robbins’ departure will signal the negotiation of a viable contract for the officers of the department, based on an honesty and transparency that has been absent under his tenure.

    1. At Orientation, you may have met Scott Paré, the deputy chief (now acting chief). Scott spoke to parents and students during the Citizen Terrier info panel.

  2. Chief Robbins, I want to thank you and your staff (in particular Lt. Detective Peter DiDomenica) for your help in dealing with a safety concern we had when our daughter was attending BU. We appreciated your accessibility, professionalism and ability to address the issue fairly and sensitively for all involved. You have tirelessly served the Commonwealth, the City of Boston and the BU community with distinction, innovation and honor. I thank you for your service and dedication. — A grateful parent of a BU grad
