Years Invested: 6

Commitment: 14 hours a week in season, 10 hours a week in off-season

Laurels: Massachusetts High School Champion and Thrower of the Year, senior year; fifth in New England Small College Athletic Conference championships

Goals: Stay in top five in every event

    A nice refreshing presentation. Good luck to Devon! The BU javelin record is a tad less than 65 meters…hopefully you’ll smash it

    Surprisingly (at least to me) Michael Landon (of Bonanza fame – and little house on the Prarie fame) was an Olympic javelin thrower. I think it was his original ‘claim to fame’.

      Michael Landon was an excellent high school javelin thrower however he did not compete in the Olympics.
