  1. It’s good to know more about this iconic building on the BU campus. Lindsay was a second-rate writer but a first-rate architectural planner. I have reservations about housing Alumni Affairs there — it’s an office that will likely expand & may gobble up more of The Castle, which would be a shame. As much of it as possible should be available for campus events.

  2. So enjoyed this article! I’ve written a novel about the sinking of the Lusitania, in which the Lindseys, their home at 225 Bay State, and the Chapel on Newbury Street, play prominent roles. William Lindsey was an exceptional person, who also contributed the instruments collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, and continues to benefit our community.
