  1. Totally awesome. Will there be other ties to CAS and CFA?
    Sitting at the end of the silk road, North African and Middle Eastern math, music and literature has had such an influence on western culture and world music. It would be wonderful if at least music could also fit under this umbrella.

  2. Yes! With their advisor’s approval, students can count any MENA-themed course from anywhere in the university as an elective for the MENA major. We’re excited to work with colleagues in CFA, Public Health, and elsewhere. Ideas and collaborations welcome: the faculty can be reached via bu.edu/MENA.
