There is 1 comment on Can You Tell Which Child Has ADHD?

  1. So glad this research is being done! As someone with ADHD and with a child with this disorder, I am excited about taking the guesswork out of diagnosis. I am disappointed that once again this article doesn’t mention the major side effecta of NOT medicating. MDs, parents, and patients need to remember that the berating messages received by these kids/adults (both from others and themselves) whose parents believe “medication has side effects – we’re not doing that” is often far, far worse than the medical side effects. There is also no mention of the increased use of recreational drugs to self medicate teens who have not been diagnosed. Please do a followup!
