  1. Insightful comments by the people profiled on that terrible week and great job by all those who helped, the first responders, the trauma surgeon pictured above, and the officers pictured above from BUPD!

  2. Dear BU Today staff and other BU community members, what a beautiful tribute. The handwritten notes and photos you shared are so hauntingly real and moving. I wish you peace on this difficult day.

  3. A poignant, beautifully written and presented account of individuals involved with and affected by the events of that day and the nights that followed, one year ago.

  4. Denise, I am so proud of you and Paul and your whole family. I too remember how excited we were for Dennis who was running his first marathon … a marathon filled with so much purpose. We will be there again this year. We will laugh and cry and celebrate the completion of what Dennis started last year.

  5. My granddaughter goes to BU and was at the marathon with her sisters. My heart stopped when I heard about the bombs..we couldn’t reach her for some time. It was the most freighting hours of my life until we heard she was safe. Then I cried for the rest.
