YouSpeak: What Are You Listening To?
Comm Ave’s eclectic top-40
Justin Timberlake’s new album, The 20/20 Experience, has become this year’s first to top $1 million in sales. Released just two weeks ago, the album has held the number one spot on Billboard’s top-200 list since its debut, and Spotify reports that two of its tracks, “Mirrors” and “Suit & Tie,” are the most streamed songs in 9 out of 10 markets.
We wanted to find out what you’re listening to: JT, Lil Wayne’s “Love Me,” Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop,” or some random indie band you discovered while holding your iPhone up to a speaker in a crowded bar, hoping SoundHound would recognize the track?
And besides what you’re listening to, we’re curious about where you go to find music. Do you still read Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, or do you get all your tunes through social media? Are you a fan of Pandora, iTunes, YouTube? Or have you bucked the digital trend altogether and gone back to vinyl?
This week’s “YouSpeak” asks: “What are you listening to?”
“YouSpeak” typically appears each Monday.
