  1. Great list!
Don’t forget the South End’s Bobby’s of Boston and the SOWA indoor vintage market — lots of vintage treasures to behold!

Bobby’s is mostly vintage men’s clothing, but there is a small women’s section, too. Everyone has to experience the SOWA vintage market, which is on the same street as Bobby’s and spans three large warehouse-sized rooms of sellers every Sunday. Mostly vintage items – clothing, furniture, jewelery, photos, maps, and some refurbished materials. I love the guy who bends old vintage spoons into bracelets – he can tell you all about the history of silverware design trends.

    1. Thank you, Sarah! I actually made a trip to Bobby’s but an employee said he doesn’t consider the store secondhand, so I decided not to include it. The SoWa Vintage Market sounds like a great option!

  2. You didn’t mention the Boomerangs mothership in JP – easy to reach by T or the 39 bus, and usually worthwhile. There’s also a Goodwill about a block away, so you can hit two stores with one trip!
