  1. Thank you for covering this! Every time I’m walking to class, I just smile because of how beautiful the campus is becoming. I look forward to this season every year at BU and I’m grateful that the school has such a dedicated and good humored team of landscapers. Thank you BU ground crew for the hard work!

  2. As with the commenters above me, I am overjoyed to see the lovely transformation that has begun on campus. The beautiful flowers and groundswork have made it a treat to walk down Comm Ave. I can’t wait until my mother comes to pick me up and sees all of the work–she adores flowers! A big “Thank you!” to the crew for making campus look so gorgeous.

  3. I too have been admiring the beautiful and beautifully-cared-for plants and flowers this spring. Seeing blooming things kept my spirits up through all my final papers. The grounds workers have been working really hard, and it shows. Campus is beautiful! Great job, guys!

  4. Thanks for covering this! The BU grounds keepers do a beautiful job every year. I love the tall grasses! I’d love to see peonies on campus, too. Any chance?

  5. Always enjoyed the campus transformation when I was a student. Now I’m an alum (COM ’06) and will be getting married at Marsh Chapel in August and can’t wait for our guests to see how beautiful it will be. Nice work! Great article, too.

  6. I have been so charmed by the butterfly bushes on the corner of Comm Ave and the BU bridge – this past fall, the Monarch butterflies attracted to the bushes were so beautiful, and provided a great contrast to all the nearby traffic. Thank you for making the walks to and from class magical!

  7. Really nice to see a full story about the grounds folks. They do an excellent job all year round, though their work leading up to Commencement really stands out. I worked with them for a summer and can honestly say that they truly care about keeping the green spaces on campus in very good shape.
