There are 3 comments on Framingham Heart Study Carries on, Despite Budget Cuts

  1. In the mean time if BUSM took out full page add in the Boston Globe detailing the contributions the Framingham Heart Study has made to health and appealed to the people of Massachusetts to donate whatever they could and this study could easily be funded with in state money. For example is 100K people donated just $40 the study would be fully funded again. The people of Massachusetts support all kinds of good causes through their participation in races for cures etc. This is the model we should be employing. Rather than begging congress for our tax dollars back we should fund it ourselves in state to avoid the middle man and get the federal tax deduction too!

  2. I visited the Friends of the Framingham Heart Study website and found that I could not donate online even though I wanted to. Can someone please help these build a webpage that will allow for online donations optimally using Paypal to furher facilitate the donate process. You are not going to bring in money if it is too much work for people to donate to the cause.
