  1. John is a very close friend of mine, and I regard him as one of the few real deals in life. He is well versed and very knowledgeable, not only in Boxing, but in physical fitness; which is the basic foundation for any endeavor. He is no doubt one of the true tough guys who actually went the route. Keep punching brother.

  2. Great article on a fantastic guy. John is very dedicated to his sport. Always has been. He is a credit to the game. A class act for giving back. BU should be proud to have him on their faculty. I’m proud to be a friend of John’s. I refereed some fights of John’s a “few” years ago. He always gave it his all. He has paid his dues. His students should be aware of his background and knowledge. This is not the type of boxing person you see in the movies. John is a real life Champion.

  3. To get such kudos from Dick Flaherty and Ted the Bull, John must be the salt of the earth. Great story. So glad I learned about him. Hope to meet him someday.
