  1. Correction: Alpha Epsilon Pi was not affiliated with Boston University and has not been recognized by the University since the early 1990s. This distinction is important to make. That chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi should not be a reflection of BU Greek Life as it has not been associated with BU in over 20 years. Please correct this.

      1. If you truly believe AEPi is a reflection of BU Greek Life you must not be involved in greek life nor know anything about it. BU Greek Life is an incredibly strong community that does nothing but add positive connotations to this school and unfortunately gets tarnished by organizations such as AEPi who are not recognized by the school or their own nationals. If you are not educated in the subject area please do not comment on it Romy.

      2. AEPi is not a reflection of BU greeklife. Its like saying that the club hockey team is a reflection of the men’s hockey team. They have no real connection between the two teams other than the fact that the members are BU students

        1. But suppose that both the club hockey team and men’s hockey team were found guilty of hazing. If so, then there’s likely a connection between the two (such as a sense of entitlement.)

The fact is that AEPi and Sigma Chi have both been suspected of hazing. The chances that the motivations or intentions behind each case of hazing have something in common? More than likely. Maybe AEPi wasn’t a reflection of BU Greek Life in April, but thanks to Sigma Chi, they sure reflect Greek Life now!
