There are 10 comments on New B-Ball Coach Comes from BC

  1. I wish Coach Jones a fond welcome and all the best.

That said, using the terms “victorious season” to describe an NIT appearance by an ACC school is disingenuous at best. There are no BC fans who are satisfied with that type of performance…

  2. BU getting a coach from BC. That’s like Duke getting a coach from North Carolina. So weird getting a coach from your top rival and being excited about it.

  3. The commentator who disparaged coach Jones’ record at Columbia obviously knows nothing about Columbia basketball and its history of futility and discouragement. The turnaround engineered by coach Jones there is a terrific recommendation for him. And what could be better than stealing a coach from BC?

  4. Joe Jones is a class act and a terrific coach and will do great things at BU If you are not penn or princeton it is very difficult to win in the IVY league

  5. Joe Jones is a great coach. He will also be a great mentor for BU’s student-athletes. Joe Jones will accept nothing less than excellence on the floor and excellence in the classroom. I could not be happier about this hire.
