  1. How I wish this could be the answer to all our problems. So many with lung related problems who could have a completely new lease of life. Perhaps one day, but we rely on these amazing scientists to find the answer. What an amazing and positive article this is.

  2. It’s amazing that in a world of political debates and governmental posturing, science has all the answers, per usual. This work is revolutionary and also very cool…

  3. But I would love to hear about this in relation to the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes, which I feel is often left unmentioned in articles I’ve read about stem cells. Of course, any advancement in stem cell research is awesome in my book!

  4. Aww man! this is seriously cool. I’m so glad they had success in doing this. Hopefully it’s the start of more great things to come in the way of disease treatment and prevention.

  5. As a parent of a child with a genetic disorder, I look forward to the day when my son or perhaps his children can benefit from this type of research. We should do all we can to support work of this nature, particularly when it’s being done by young, energetic and passionate researchers such as these.

  6. Iam interested in the new treatment for cystic fibrosis my son is 47 years old and was just diagnosed with cystic fibrosis he served in Afghanistan and was diagnosed recently and it is genetic. Please send me any information you have to help him as it will get worse soon. Thank you. I believe it is exploiting the sick when a drug could be helpful to prolong his life I probably won’t get a response but I hope I do. carolhands@verizon.net or phone 410-461-3027 Thank you
