  1. Fr. John, Congratulations on your new endeavor! You may not remember me, but I was a St. CLements parish member. I remember how well you related to all the young kids in our parish. My son, Kevin was one, who held you in very high regard. You provided leadership as well as guidance and friendship to so many of the kids in the CYO at St. C’s. Based on that, I know you will do well and have a huge impact on all you come in contact with at BU! Best wishes, Peggy Dwyer

  2. Congratulations Fr. John! Your love of Christ along with all your gifts you have to share will be a great blessing to the BU community. Best wishes God Bless, Sheila Gnerre

  3. It is a very nice tribute to a great man, from a wonderful family. Although I will be honest, having known him for more then years now, he is even more of a budding saint then this picture that was painted wonderfully by the author. I could go on endlessly with tremendous accounts of his leadership, guidance, charity, compassion and much, much more… I lost my wife many years ago, was lost in life with 3 young children, he saved my family in so many ways… may peace always be with him and his congregation….:)

  4. Congratulations, Fr. John! I found this link in a BC newsletter; I’m forwarding it to all Foley members who have email (I’ll have to print it for my dad, though)!

  5. Yay Father John!! So happy you are back in Massachusetts. It’s not surprising how well you are adapting to your new assignment. You have a gift of sharing our faith with people and identifying to how young people relate to you. Foxboro misses you and we hope to see you soon.

  6. Fr. John,

We miss you at St Mary’s Foxboro, Ma my family & friends still talk about how much positive impact you had on us, especially the kids. Keep up the great work, don’t forget the jokes!

  8. God bless you Father John! Back in 1999 my son Joseph was born with kidney reflex grade 5,! He needed a a 16 hour surgery involving ureter transplant! I needed a priest to baptize my son before his emergency surgery and Father John was there for me and my child and entire family! He came on short notice at St. Clements Church on June 25th 1999. Soon after my son went through a1 16 hour kidney operation! Father John prayed for him and the surgery was a success! God bless you Father John and thank you from the Penza Family! God has blessed us all with Father John! I also new Father John back when he was a dedicated coach in Woburn. He has always been a great role model for all the athletes who has had the privilege to have him coach them!
    Gratitude!

  9. Father John was an amazing example of Christ’s love. An incredible human being that Foxboro was blessed to have him for the years that we did. He’s in a great place to make a positive impact. God Bless Fr. John!
