There are 7 comments on Lunch, Anyone? Anna’s Taqueria

  1. You’re right, Anna’s is delicious, but several locations have signs up saying that they cook their rice and beans in chicken stock, so the food is definitely NOT vegan or vegetarian. I think you can request vegetarian rice, but it’s certainly something to keep an eye on if you’re veggie.

  2. For vegetarians and healthy eaters, I know that Dorado Tacos (1 block away from Anna’s on Harvard St.) only serves vegetarian black beans and Mexican-style rice. Also grilled mushrooms and zucchini & peppers. For vegans, too, without cheese. P.S. Terrific Baja California-style fish tacos.

  3. Anna’s Taqueria has a special place during my BU years. Some of my friends and I were from the Southwest region and we were homesick! So Anna’s food not only reminded us a bit of home, but also was the place where we met to start forming our Hispanic organization on BU’s campus!!!

  4. I’ve heard of Anna’s before a few times but never had the opportunity to try it. After reading your review I am eager to go there now next time I’m in the Boston area!

The prices look very reasonable for the quality of the food and the amount that you get :)

  5. Olicitos is much better. Better quality meats that are freshly prepared and don’t chew like rubber bands, not to mention many freebies like avocado and many hot sauces.
