  2. I am a caregiver for my husband, who had a stroke 1 year ago. He has aphasia and can’t read or speak or write.
    Every day we work on these things!! I would love to know more about what we can do for him to get his speech back!

  3. I am a recreational therapist and friend of Malinda above, This is so encouraging. It is so true that the usual course of therapy stops about 6 months. I have many aphasic patients at my ADHC I wold like to know more.

  4. Malinda my husband as well had a stroke almost two years ago & has Aphasia…..just wanted to let you know I totally understand how difficult it can be to find the right help…fortunately we have found a wonderful speech therapist that my husband really relates too…..
    Are you on facebook as I was just trying to get a support group going for Aphasia

  5. I’m a 73 year old male. I had a stroke 6 yrs ago. I have aphasia but my body is fine. I do intense exercise. I hope BU will have more programs likes yours. I still go to a weekly group like jimmy V. I still wont quit.
