Seniors: four years of work ends in one week of fun

Question: Remember Saved by the Bell? Neon track suits? Boy bands?

Then you’ll fit right in with tonight’s Senior Week event, which is a ’90s-themed cruise on Boston Harbor, with dancing and a ’90s trivia game. The Student Activities Office has several events planned for Senior Week, not including Commencement, which could be considered the ultimate senior event.

While many are sold out, tickets for some are still available. For more information, seniors can visit the Student Activities Business Office, One University Rd., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. And for an updated schedule of Senior Week events and for ticket availability, seniors can check the Senior Week Web site.

Senior Week 2010 is sponsored by the Senior Week 2010 Committee, the Student Activities Office, and the Office of the Dean of Students.

“It’s hard leaving good kids where you’ve been a part of their lives for one to four years,” he said. “I love coaching. We’ve worked hard to get this program turned around to where we can compete in the 4A, but I’m excited about the new challenge of coaching the girls basketball team.” replica handbags
