  1. I would like to note that the sign outside of CFA is incorrect: this performance is NOT free with a BU ID. If you have a BU ID and purchase a ticket at the box office you will receive a second ticket, which will be free, but the initial ticket is $25!

I wish BU students did not have to pay twenty-five dollars to see their own BU Symphony Orchestra perform.

You can call about ticket information at: 617-266-1200.

Also, the concert begins at 8:00 P.M., not at 7:30 P.M.

  2. Mind you, there are $10 student rush tickets available the day of the performance, but ten dollars is still ten dollars. Please do not use misinformation to advertise free tickets.

  3. Having talked to another person at the Symphony Orchestra, apparently tickets are free so long as they are available. Please call 617-266-1200 to double check.

Boston Symphony Orchestra, please make sure your employees at the box office understand procedures for BU concerts!

I repeat, tickets ARE free for BU students with IDs as long as they are available. You have to pick them up in person; they cannot be reserved.
