A Cappella Voices: Treblemakers

BU vocal group performs holiday songs

The holidays are here, and what better way to celebrate than with seasonal songs from some of Boston University’s best a cappella groups? Over the coming days, BU Today will showcase a different group. The performances were recorded at the Castle. A cappella, which means “in the manner of the chapel,” was first used to describe church music composed for unaccompanied voices, and now refers to any vocal music performed without instruments.

In our fourth installment, the Treblemakers perform “Silent Night.”

    Beautiful duet at the end!

This is one of my favorites from the series. Beautiful harmonies and the duet with the two girls towards the end was especially lovely.
