  1. While there is an intuitive connection high heels and foot pain, this article does not make the connection —- “poor” includes sandals, slippers, and high heels. —- In this BU today article, those 13% are not differentiated enough to draw any high heel only conclusions. —- The abstract on the ‘recent study’ link indicates this granularity was not in the actual study either. — The conclusion is probably correct, however the study does not appear to support the conclusion. Rather than “scientific evidence in support of cautionary tales from stiletto veterans, finding a strong tie between footwear and foot pain as wearers get older. “, a connection is shown between poor footwear and foot pain. — No connection is made between the BU Today article caption “Stylish Shoes” and poor footwear. — My conclusion, Dan Morrell has used a mildly supportive study to ‘support’ casually assembled anecdotal evidence. It is reasonable story telling, but IMO, his article totally fails to support his premise.

  2. Well its pretty obvious what i find that the more style you like the more price you need to pay for thats the trend and you need to empty your pockets after all style is costly.

  3. I work in Manhattan in a high profile ad agency, I have about 30+ pairs of heels, most are pumps and sling-backs and a few step-ins, heels range from 2 to 4 inches depending, all types of colors.

Just like my suits, bras and stockings, I have to dress the part everyday at work. Heels make the look and get you noticed… a lot!
