  1. Walking to the GSU today I was pretty upset to see confetti all along the grass next to the School of Theology. For BU to supply the confetti and release it, but not clean it up and let it litter the small bits of green on campus doesn’t seem too 2009.

  2. As a graduate of Miami University and an employee of BU, I was torn as I watched the game. However, since I have a son currently at Boston College, it was very sweet to watch BU clinche it! Congrats to all.

  3. The confetti is a biodegradable confetti product that was chosen specifically because of that quality. When it next rains, the confetti will be absorbed into the ground. It is also harmless if animals attempt to eat it.

While most of the confetti was cleaned up the day of the event, it would be quite difficult to get every piece. Thanks for commenting though – the event organizers definitely expected that question!
