There are 2 comments on How Maize Moves Malaria

  1. Thumbs up! I grew up in part of East Africa (Kisii, Kenya) where we grow maize year in year out. Mosquitoes are usually not a problem in this area. We never ever use any pesticides or mosquito nets!!!!! But surprisingly malaria is an annual disease, usually between May to July when Maize is in full bloom. After harvest the scourge goes down drastically until the next season again. Your study explains and I hope that a solution will be found.
