  1. First, this is a great job that your working on guys!
I was suprised when I read this article about using leds to transmit data from one point to another. The reason I am surprised is because back in 2003 I was in my last semester in the institue of electronic profession in Tripoli, Libya. I was working on my graduation project which was about transmitting and recieving data between 2 PCs using a laser beam as a transfering media. The PCB and serial port adaptors were installed on both sides, and all the equipments and components for the design were ready for a testing. I used RS232 IC to convert data recived through the laser beam into digital signals in order to be read by C language based software installed on both PCs……But unfortunatly, the RS232 didn’t work out when I tested it, even though I ordered it from abroad because I couldnt find it in my country, and it took a long time to deliver those ICs. It was so sad to reach this point, and I had to give up the idea and work on a different project!!…..
Anyway, once again I would like to say that this is a nice job what you are doing, and I would love to see this kind of project to succeed. At least It will make me feel that what I did was something reasonable and can be done!

    Good Luck….

  2. I have been an electronics and computer enthusiast for many years. Science has always had a soft spot in my heart. It is nice to know that you are working on new technology that one day will open a world of possibilities. It is my sincere desire to see you succeed and gift the world with an intelligent light source that will not only make our roads safer but illumine our world using resources with which God has entrusted us for good. Much success to you all!
