Boston University’s Edge Dance Company will host the sixth annual New England Collegiate Dance Collaboration (NECDC) on Saturday, February 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the George Sherman Union’s Metcalf Hall.

More than 20 dance groups from 15 colleges, including BU’s Vibes, Jalwa, and Fusion and the BU Dance Team, will participate in one of the largest dance shows in the New England area. NECDC features nearly every style of collegiate dance — including hip-hop, jazz, Irish step dancing, salsa, contemporary, lyrical, and Indian fusion dance.

All proceeds will benefit Dancers Responding to AIDS, a fundraising program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Advance tickets are $5 at the GSU Link from February 4 through 8. Tickets are $8 at the door. The event will likely sell out, so buy tickets early.
