Points of Departure: “This Is a Friend I Will Have Forever.”

Joanna Guerrero (SAR’08) and Phyllis Lipovsky (SED’08)

What’s it like to move on after four years at Boston University? What’s over? What’s not? What, besides the construction on the Kenmore Square T stop, will go on forever? BU Today asked graduates of the Class of 2008 to talk about what they brought, what they are taking away, and what they will always carry with them.

Best friends Joanna Guerrero (SAR’08) and Phyllis Lipovsky (SED’08) both chose majors that would allow them to help others (speech language pathology and teaching) and both worked at the Office of Housing. What else do they have in common? Watch the video and see.

Check back tomorrow to watch more seniors reflect on their time at BU.
