Seniors talk about their hopes, plans, and ideas for the future


Some college seniors have been sure of their career path since childhood. Others still haven’t a clue. This year’s graduates face the additional challenges of a struggling economy and an extra-competitive job market.

As Commencement fast approaches, BU Today is asking seniors about their plans for the future and how they feel about this in-between moment. In the video above, Sarah Weinstein (COM’08) talks about finding out that a college degree doesn’t guarantee the right job.

  5. Sarah is absolutely right – everything doesn’t have to happen immediately. The important thing is to move forward, learn something from every position you are lucky enough to get and remember that you are not bound to the job for life.
