As a hotbed in the struggle for independence, Boston had its fair share of rabble-rousing. Remember that Tea Party? The Boston Massacre? The shot heard round the world? Boston Harborfest keeps that patriotic spirit alive with a six-day Fourth of July celebration featuring more than 200 events, including historical reenactments, walking tours, sunset harbor cruises, and free concerts on City Hall Plaza. Events began July 1, and continue through Sunday, July 6.

Among daily events are tours of the State House, various activities at the Old South Meeting House, where the Boston Tea Party began, plenty of Duck Tours, and even a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party.

For more information, visit the Boston Harborfest Web site or call 617-227-1528.
