Points of Departure

Jonathan Chin (CAS’07): “Take care of each other”

BU Today asked the Class of 2007 to think about the future and the past, explore their fears and expectations, and say good-bye to Boston University on camera. “Points of Departure,” a series about graduating and moving on, appeared on BU Today throughout Commencement weekend and the following week.

In the video above, Jonathan Chin (CAS’07), a computer science and English major from Queens, N.Y., and a cofounder of BU’s slam poetry group Speak for Yourself, performs a poem he wrote about loving and leaving Boston.

“Points of Departure” originally appeared on BU Today on May 17, 2007.
