Chamber Orchestra and Chorus Perform Classical Concert

The Boston University Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Chorus — two of the student and faculty performance groups at the College of Fine Arts school of music — will hold a free concert tonight, October 4, at 8 p.m. at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Ave.
William Lumpkin, a CFA associate professor of music and the music director of BU’s Opera Institute, and Ann Howard Jones, a CFA professor of music and the director of choral music, will conduct three works: Mozart’s Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 1 in D Major, Classical, and Haydn’s Mass in D Major, Lord Nelson.
