Jane Lannak, a School of Education clinical associate professor of curriculum and teaching, and Marcie Berul, program coordinator of the Early Childhood Learning Lab, a preschool at SED, recently presented a session at the annual conference of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The conference gives early childhood educators the opportunity to discuss new research and teaching strategies as well as network with professionals across the country.

Lannak’s and Berul’s presentation focused on the emotional, social, and cognitive development of preschoolers to help teachers establish goals in the classroom. Lannak is the director of the Early Childhood Learning Lab.
