Welcome to the home page of the Boston University Teaching and Learning
with Technology Roundtable. We are a group of faculty and staff researchers,
instructors, administrators and technicians from the Charles River and
Medical campuses. We share a common goal of improving teaching and learning
by using information technology. We hold monthly meetings for the purposes
of sharing information, learning from one another's experiences, discussing/identifying
specific areas of need and potential solutions and developing new venues
for collaborations.
For your information:
Upcoming meetings:
The TLTR has been inactive for the past two years. However, we expect to resume our meetings in late September or early October,
2004. Watch this site for more information.
In the meantime, feel free to browse our list of previous presentations.
The link to the list is below. We have posted a number of references
to resources associated with those presentations. While looking over
notes or PowerPoint slide shows isn't quite as good as having been at
those meetings, considerable information is available.

Their mission is "to serve as a source of expertise and support

- FIPSE
The Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), is
a unit within the Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary
Education. In their own words, "FIPSE's main activity each year is conducting
the Comprehensive Program, a grant program intended to support innovative
educational reform projects that can serve as national models for the
improvement of postsecondary education. If you have a good idea for
improving teaching or student learning, or for improving access to postsecondary
education, then FIPSE's Comprehensive Program might be an ideal funding
source."
