w/Alianza Latina

Returned volunteers will share stories of their service at the:

• International Rescue Committee (www.theirc.org) in Atlanta, GA; and
• Workers Defense Project (www.workersdefense.org) in Austin, TX.

Issues include racial and economic justice in the workplace as well as advocacy for those uprooted or affected by conflict and oppression.

Native American Issues
w/the American Indigenous Culture Club

Returned volunteers will share stories of their service at the:

• Sioux YMCA (www.siouxymca.org) in Dupree, SD; and
• Cherokee Nation (www.cherokee.org) in Tahlequah, OK.

Issues include the preservation of Native American culture and ideals as well as education, health and housing concerns.

Environmental Issues
w/the Environmental Student Organization

Returned volunteers will share stories of their service at the:

• Cumberland Island Nat'l Seashore (www.nps.gov/cuis) in Cumberland Island, GA;
• Blowing Rocks Preserve (www.nature.org) in Hobe Sound, FL;
• The Nature Conservancy (www.nature.org) in Marathon, FL; and
• L’Eco Quartier (www.netzonemedia.com/ecopeqs/home) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Issues include global climate change, deforestation, the presence of invasive species, and other threats to our ecosystem.
