Normal BUS service has resumed as Boston Police have reopened all streets...
About The BUS
A valid Boston University ID or other acceptable proof of affiliation with the University is required to board The BUS at Agganis Way.
To speed boarding, patrons should have their ID out and ready for inspection, as only the front doors of the bus will be used during the above-listed times.
For your safety, all BUS drivers have been directed by Boston University to limit standees per Massachusetts regulation. Should the capacity of a BUS be reached, we ask that you follow your driver’s direction and patiently wait in an orderly queue for the next shuttle. The waiting time for the next BUS should be reasonable, given the frequency of its service.
Red Sox Home Games
While Boston Red Sox may signal the return of spring or a run for the pennant, it also means increased traffic before and after Fenway Park home games. Users of The BUS should expect significant delays beginning two hours before the start of each home game and approximately one hour after a game’s end (games typically last three hours). While we cannot know the exact extent of the delays in advance, we suggest users add at least one half hour to their schedule. You can obtain a Red Sox schedule by visiting www.redsox.com and selecting the “Schedule” link.
We will do everything we can to keep the shuttle running on time; however, we have no control over the roadways we share with others.
If the Charles River Campus does not open for classes due to a weather-related emergency closing, The BUS will not operate on that day.
In the event of a delayed opening of the Charles River Campus, The BUS service will operate that day’s full schedule.
In the event the Charles River Campus is closed early (after opening) due to a weather-related emergency closing, The BUS will continue to operate that day’s full schedule. If both the Charles River and Medical Campuses are closed early (after opening), The BUS will cease operations two hours after the later of the two official closing times.
Information regarding emergency closings is available as follows:
Medical Campus: Call 617-638-6886 or visit the Medical Campus’s website and select the “Emergency Disaster Communications” link or listen to announcements on authorized stations.
