Oh, and he’s a BU alumnus! Dave graduated from SED and CAS in 1998 and is coming back to campus to talk to you about being likable. Join us for what is sure to be an exciting presentation offering real tips that you can put to use right away!
09/20 Student-Alumni Charles River Cleanup 2014 One of our favorite things about BU is our backyard and the city we’re a part of. Join alumni and students as we team up with the CSC to help clean up an area near the Charles over Alumni Weekend. After we roll up our sleeves we’ll roll out the boxed lunches. This is a great chance to spend quality time with alumni!
10/16 An Evening with Hollywood Movie Director and #STUCK 2014 Long gone are the days when films were largely backed by major studios. In today’s film industry it takes a jack-of-all-trades spending their days finding ways to finance their projects through Kick Starter Campaigns and Crowdfunding. Spend an evening with BU for a private screening of #STUCK written, directed, and produced by Stuart Acher, COM ’98. Stay in your seats after the show for an exclusive talk back as Stuart takes you on his director’s journey lined with perils and success from script to screen.
10/22 NEIDL tour 2014 BU is a global university in many ways, including the research and study of infectious diseases at NEIDL adjacent to our Medical Campus. Don’t get over there much? Not to worry, here is your chance! NEIDL is part of a national network of facilities studying diseases that are or have the potential to become major public health concerns for Boston, the United States, and/or the world. This is a major step forward in advancing public health and we’re happy to have partnered with the NEIDL researchers to offer you a tour of the facility. Wed

12/3, 12/11—12/13 Study Hall in DAR 2014 We know that finding space to spread out your notes and plug in your laptop to study can be tough. For the first time ever, we’re offering exclusive access to the Alumni Lounge and Board Room for Terrier Connection members to come study for finals. We’ll provide snacks and coffee and hope you’ll find the space quiet and useful! Please be prepared to show your membership card at the door.
