Call Waiting
Signals you while you are on a call that a second call is waiting. If you use a modem, you should cancel Call Waiting for that call. Please note that Call Waiting will be reactivated after each call.
To use: Press Switchhook (puts first call on hold). You will be connected to second call.
To return to first call/alternate between two calls: Press Switchhook.
To cancel Call Waiting prior to placing call: Lift handset. Dial *70. Dial number.
To cancel Call Waiting if already on a call: Press Switchhook. Dial *70.
Three Way Calling
Lets you speak with two other people at the same time, on or off campus.
To use: While on first call, press Switchhook. Dial and establish second call. Press Switchhook again. All three parties are connected.
To return to first call if busy or no answer: Press Switchhook twice.
Speed Calling
Use to create a directory of frequently called numbers in order to abbreviate future dialing.
To create a 50 number list: Lift handset. Dial 75 (access code). Dial 2-digit storage code (00-49).Dial telephone number to store (outside call: 9 + number). Wait for "stutter" dial tone. Replace handset.
To use: Lift handset. Dial * + storage code number. Press #.
Last Number Redial
Allows you to dial the last number called without dialing the entire number.
To use: Lift handset. Dial ##.
Note: When using this feature on a long distance call, you will need to re-enter your PSC number.
Ring Again
Automatically connects you to a busy extension when it becomes idle. (on campus calls only)
To use: When you hear the busy signal, press Switchhook. Dial 80#. Hang up.When extension becomes idle, your phone will ring back to inform you that it is free. Lift handset. The other phone rings.
