Screen-Share Method
Overview
As a first-time web conferencing host, you should take a few preparatory steps to assure a smooth, professional meeting with your colleagues. This guide explains what you should consider before every session.
- Audio for your conference If any conference participants are to join through telephone or cell phone, (rather than through a PC headset and speakers/microphone) you must also reserve an audio conference bridge through Telecom. Per-minute charges for each participant may apply.
- Schedule with Telecom For the web conference, obtain the pass code and URL for acrobat.com. If necessary, obtain the reservation for the audio bridge.
- Run the Settings tests on your computer at the acrobat.com site.
- Outline your meeting on the Adobe Site.
- Send out the invitations.
- Familiarize yourself with the Adobe Palette (Pods) and the host controls.
- Practice opening your conference document on the computer using the Screen-Share method.
- Conduct the Conference.
