Reading the Agent Status Indicators:

Each of the feature or line keys on your Business Set has an LCD indicator associated with it. When a line is active, a diamond-shaped indicator is visible on the LCD.

OFF= feature or line is not active
ON= feature or line is active
FAST FLASHING= line is ringing or feature is in the process of being activated
SLOW FLASHING= line is on hold

Logging In:

1. Press the AGENT/IN CALLS key. You hear one short tone followed by dial tone.

2. Pick up the receiver or plug in the headset.

3. Dial your agent login ID number.

4. When you want to accept ACD calls, press the NOT READY key.

Logging Out:

Press the MAKE BUSY key. The Make busy indicator turns on and you are logged out. If you press the MAKE BUSY key while on an ACD call, you will be logged out when the call is released.

Answering an ACD Call:

Pick up the handset OR if you are using a headset, press the AGENT/IN CALLS key.

Ending an ACD Call:

Press the RLS key OR hang up.

Using the NOT READY key:

1. Press the NOT READY key. The NOT READY indicator goes on. After you press the NOT READY key, you will not receive any other ACD calls. You can still receive calls on the SDN on your set.

2. To receive calls, press the NOT READY key. If you press the NOT READY key while you are on an ACD call, the call is disconnected.
