The Departmental Portal is available to any authorized departmental
administrator for viewing monthly telecommunications charges for
a department (or departments) through a web browser. Through the
Departmental Usage Report, an administrator can view the charges
for local and long distance usage charges, monthly recurring charges
for lines and equipment, cellular service, and one-time charges
for any work order related charges.
A departmental contact can also view Work Orders submitted for
his department and Trouble Tickets submitted for his department
if the department administrator is set up as a contact who is authorized to view this
SERVICES information.
To get set up as a Departmental Administrator, and email from the
director of the department must send an email to phone@bu.edu
. The director must include the following information in this request:
Contact Name, Contact Phone Number and email address, the department
numbers for which the contact should be authorized, the type of access
required – view bill and/or view workorders/trouble tickets.
A Departmental Administrator must have a Secure ID in order to access
the Departmental Portal. If a SecureId is needed, contact your department's
