Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program


The Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program offers services for children and adolescents who come to CARD. The program provides comprehensive evaluations and cognitive-behavioral treatment for children and adolescents 7-17 years old. Treatment is offered to children and adolescents who suffer from difficulties with fears, panic, or anxiety. Treatment may be individually or in group sessions and involves varying degrees of parental involvement.

The Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program offers:

  • State of the art assessment and treatment to children and adolescents with anxiety and emotional disorders.
  • Outreach presentations for children, adolescents, parents, teachers, and hospital and school administrators.
  • Empirically supported psychological interventions.
  • Specialized treatment programs, including the Childhood Separation Anxiety Treatment Program, the Adolescent Emotional Disorders Treatment Project, and the Intensive Treatment of Adolescent Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia
