Roll Back to Java 1.6 Update 23

The latest version of Java is not compatible with the BU Works training course. If you are unable to submit quiz answers, for example, you might need to roll back to the required Java 1.6 Update 23. To do that, you will first need to uninstall all versions of Java currently on your machine. Once uninstalled, you will be able to install Java 1.6 Update 23 as described at http://www.bu.edu/tech/web/course-sites/blackboard/buworks/.

Follow theĀ  instructions below for removing Java for both Windows 7 and Windows XP, as documented on the Java website at http://www.java.com/en/download/uninstall.jsp.

2. Select Control Panel

Windows XP – Uninstall Programs
