Use Strong Passwords!
A well-chosen password improves the security of your account, files, and computer. Given sufficient time and resources any password can be guessed. A strong password combines length, variety, and unpredictability.
The longer and more complex your password is, the more secure it will be. Visit our general guidelines for choosing a secure password. Also remember never to use the same password for multiple accounts!
Think your BU account has been compromised? Be sure to change your password immediately and contact the Incident Response team at irt@bu.edu if you suspect someone else accessed your information.
