With iTunes U, you can provide audio, video, and PDF documents through iTunes. With over 5 billion songs downloaded, over 50,000 movies rented each day, and over 75 million active accounts, iTunes is the leading online retailer in music sales. Anyone with iTunes can download BU media for free in the same way they download music or movies.
It’s easy to set up a page for your course in iTunes U. You get an elegant design, high visibility, and reliable hosting with minimal effort – and your students already know how to use it. All of your content will show up in iTunes Store searches and may even be featured on the iTunes U front page.
- iPod Subscriptions – Subscribe to a course, sync with an iPod, access iTunes U through iPhone or iPod Touch.
- Large Uploads – Submit files up to 1 gigabyte each.
- Automatic Recording – Capture lectures and add them to iTunes U with Echo360.
You will need iTunes 7.2 or later. We recommend using iTunes 10, which is available for free.
