A cookie is a small piece of information that your browser stores on your computer when you visit certain web pages. Blackboard Learn uses cookies to remember your login information as you browse through the site, so it is crucial you allow cookies from Blackboard Learn.

JavaScript, which is different from Java, is a language used by web browsers that allows for easier browsing and more browsing features. JavaScript is automatically enabled in most web browsers. If you need to check that cookies and JavaScript are enabled in your browser, use the instructions below.

  1. Launch Firefox from your desktop or Dock.

  4. Ensure that the Accept cookies from sites is checked and Accept third-party cookies is set to Always.

  4. In the Block cookies section, ensure that the radio button is set to Never.

  8. Continue on to JavaScript.

Enabling JavaScript
