Training and reference materials for learning how to use the scientific computing and visualization facilities include tutorials, presentations, and online help pages. Classroom training and live presentations are also occasionally offered.
Training materials can reduce the time you’ll need to learn the various systems, teach you new tools and techniques to help you meet your objectives, and increase your effectiveness in using the computing and visualization resources.
- Our classroom training and presentations are tailored to BU’s specific installation.
- There is a comprehensive list of all software supported on the Scientific Computing Facilities and a “getting started” page for each package.
- There are links to tutorials and reference materials written outside of BU which are also useful for getting started and becoming more proficient at using the computational and visualization facilities.
