  3. I want to create a news post in blogs.bu.edu that is always in the same location, but news posts change their location on the screen. What should I do?

The easiest way to create a post that appears in the same location is not to create a news post, but to create a page. A page can be created and edited in the same way that a news post can, except instead of appearing in your list of news posts, appears underneath your content banner (the large image that displays the name of your blog).

To create a page, please follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your blogs.bu.edu site, and navigate to the Dashboard.

      location1

    2. On the left-side of the screen, select the Pages link.

      location2

    3. Underneath Pages select Add New.

      location3

    4. Give your page a title.

      location4

    5. Give your page content.

      location5

    6. When you have finished creating your page, select Publish.

      location6

    7. Now when you view your blog, a link for your page will appear underneath the content banner, easily accessible by any who visit your blog.

      location7
