A MediaWiki is a collaborative website that can be edited by visitors. Originally created for Wikipedia, the software is now available to anyone who wants to work with others to edit and maintain documentation.
With a MediaWiki, you create a BU branded location that can either be open to the entire BU community or limited to a subset of the community. You can store, share, and edit all of your documentation in a single place and make it available to the people you specify – anyone who can view your documentation can edit it.
- Access restriction – Control who can view and edit your content.
- Easy organization - Categorize internal documentation – all categories are displayed on the front page of your Wiki.
- Revision history – Track, undo, and review changes made to all pages.
