The Researcher Conflict of Interest Administration service provides online means for gathering, storing, and reviewing information needed by the University’s Office of Research Compliance (ORC) to support Boston University’s and Boston Medical Center’s compliance with federal regulations and institutional policies. The service provides a convenient way for BU and BMC research investigators to disclose and manage detailed information about their research projects and personal financial interests.
Entering, managing, storing, and reviewing required information online is convenient, secure, and environmentally responsible. Individuals and administrative units are able to comply with regulations more efficiently, relieved of the necessity to submit, repeatedly update, and store paper forms.
- Online access allows investigators to update their disclosures at any time
- Ability to copy/import data from previously submitted disclosure forms
- ORC can review disclosures online at any time
