Development & Alumni Reporting has an informational focus on alumni contributions, campaigns, fundraising programs, and trend analysis. Management of this information and all related business processes is administered by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) at Boston University. The primary source system of record for this information is the Blackbaud eCRM (or BBEC) system.


Development & Alumni reporting leverages the Blackbaud eCRM (or BBEC) system and allows the University’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) to coordinate, manage, and report on their fundraising activities. The system is an alumni CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) system that integrates information from multiple departments along with University-wide data on a single system and supports various reporting and trend analysis capabilities.

What to Expect

This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for standard change windows, as described in IS&T’s standard policies, procedures, and schedules for making changes.


Data trustee approval may be required. Access to reporting functions is based on role and job function; your manager should be able to provide guidance if pre-approval is required.
