Introduction to Image Files Tutorial
This tutorial is intended to be done at your own pace and should give you an introduction to:
- How image file formats differ and why you might want to use different formats for different tasks.
- Manipulating files in various image file formats, including converting formats, rescaling, and cropping.
- Understanding the color variations encountered in color graphics hardware and hard copy prints.
- Learning common tools and applications which are available on our facilities and more broadly.
